This series ends December 24th and that's only 6 days away! In this series I have been posting a Christmas carol, a Christmas
tip to overcome stress of the holiday season, and a cheap or free spur
of the moment gift.
The Carol:
The song is sung from the point of view of an overseas soldier during
WWII, writing a letter to his family. In the message, he tells the
family that he will be coming home, and to prepare the holiday for him
including requests for "snow", "mistletoe", and "presents on the tree".
The song ends on a melancholy note, with the soldier saying "I'll be
home for Christmas, if only in my dreams."
The Tip:
Know your limits: Don't add events if you are already busy. As much as we'd like to be in two places at once, it's just not possible. It's okay to say "No thank you, not this year."
The Gift:

Have a busy mom on your gift list and don't know what to get her? Are you looking for a gift that will be used daily and not become an item of clutter for your recipient? Know a homeschool Mom who could use a chalkboard but doesn't have room for a big board? How about a picture frame turned dry erase board! A wonderful place to jot down those things you don't want to forget yet, a great gift for anyone.
