One of the first things that I struggled with when I became a stay at home mom was keeping things together. I was missing appointments, hitting the drive thru because I didn't plan out our suppers, leaving the laundry to pile up for a whole week and then becoming aggravated that no one had clean clothes, and the list goes on.
I was living such a chaotic lifestyle, no wonder I couldn't keep up. So on one of my countless hours searching the web trying to find a solution to my mayhem, I ran across these blogs that spoke about Home Management Binders. I was in awe of these huge binders that acted as these women's brains while they woke up in the morning, during the crazy time of the afternoon, and when their brains ran down in the evening. Genius I thought!
I also came across FlyLady.net and although I have built a lot of my own personal success through her teachings I noticed there was something off putting. Don't get me wrong, she does amazing work for hundreds if not thousands of women worldwide, yet to me it was the extreme focus on the house and not so much as those that dwell within the house, that I couldn't grasp.
So in an attempt, I built my own Home Management Binder combining both FlyLady's cleaning & organizational tips with the all inclusiveness ideas found on those Home Management Binder blogs.
I'll post it in separate posts, one for each section. I figured this way if I were to switch something around, it would be easier to update. Hope you enjoy what you find on this site and I'm always up for suggestions on what readers would enjoy to find here.
